Im importing stl files into DVD studio pro. The problem is that Icelandic characters get converted into giberish.
sem þið getið gert sem mun ávallt
into:
sem þið getið gert sem mun ávallt
Since the timecode was correct I tried just copy pasting the correct one. But it's over 3 hours long and constant dialogue, so I gave up on that. Is there another way?

It looks as if your utf-8 encoded icelandic is being displayed as if it were encoded in the old MacRoman character set.

Sorry, I don't know anything about how dvd studio works. You could try making a copy of your stl file converted to Western (Mac OS Roman) encoding by opening and resaving as plain text in TextEdit or another editor.
I would have thought however that dvd studio would automatically use unicode utf8...
